Ralphs’ president, Valerie Jabbar, said in a statement in 2017, “Ralphs listens to our shoppers and we understand the importance of stretching their grocery dollars and saving at the pump. With gas prices rising, we’re excited to thank our customers by offering them the opportunity to save $1 per gallon of fuel.”
Since then, consumers can use their Ralphs Rewards Card to redeem 1,000 gasoline points for $1 off a gallon of gas through the Ralphs Fuel Rewards Program.

Shell has partnered with Ralphs Grocery Co. to provide customers a chance to save money at the pump. Ralphs Rewards can now be redeemed at participating Shell outlets and Kroger Family of Stores Fuel Centers.

How Does Ralphs Rewards Work?
Ralphs Rewards gasoline points can be earned in the following ways at Ralphs supermarkets:
- For every $1 spent on qualified grocery purchases, customers receive one point
- Shoppers receive two points for every dollar spent when they purchase qualifying gift cards. Ralphs will award four points for every $1 purchased on gift cards
- Customers receive points for purchases made at Ralphs Pharmacy stores
- Shoppers that use reusable bags earn five points for each bag they use, up to a maximum of ten bags per transaction.
How Do I Redeem Ralphs Rewards at Shell?
Customers can redeem their fuel rewards by simply swiping their Ralphs Rewards Card at Ralphs fuel centers and participating Shell outlets, or by manually entering their alternative ID or Ralphs Rewards Card number found on the back of the card at the pump before filling up.
Is There A Limit To How Much Fuel To Redeem?
Up to 1,000 Fuel Points can be used for $1 off every gallon at Kroger Family of Stores Fuel Centers. Fuel Points can be redeemed for up to 35 gallons of unleaded, mid-grade, premium, diesel, or E85 in 100 point increments.
Some stations may not carry all grades, and regional rules or credit and debit card fraud prevention procedures may limit transactions at the dispenser. You may redeem 1,000 Fuel Points for up to $1 off each gallon at participating Shell stores.
When Do Fuel Points Expire?
Fuel Points are only valid until the last day of the month in which they were earned. Fuel Points collected in May, for example, will expire on June 30th. Monthly balances are not cumulative; each month is a distinct earning period.
This is why it’s important to keep track of your gasoline points. On your receipt, you may see how many Fuel Points you’ve earned. You may also check the balance of your Fuel Points on our website or through our mobile app.
Is Kroger And Shell Gas The Same?
Shell is a frequent supplier of gasoline to Kroger. As a result, gas at these select gas stations will be of the same high quality as that available at Shell. Kroger and Shell, on the other hand, are different companies with no operations in common other than purchasing fuel from the same supplier.
Can I Buy Gas With a Ralphs Gift Card?
Physical gift cards from Ralphs can be used to buy gas at Kroger gas stations, but they do not qualify for 2X or 4X gasoline rewards. Kroger eGift cards, on the other hand, cannot be used to purchase gas or merchandise at Kroger Fuel Centers or kiosks.
How Do I Know Which Month’s Balance My Points Were Taken From?
Fuel Points are removed from the highest month’s balance in order to provide you with the best available discount. Fuel Points are removed from the prior month’s balance if the balances match the same discount (for example, Jan=110 Fuel Points and Feb=190 Fuel Points, both monthly balances equal a $.10/gal discount).
Can I Set Which Month’s Balance To Redeem My Ralph Rewards From?
To spend a portion of your Fuel Points, pick option 2 (CHANGE AMT) and input a sum equal to or less than your total discount available. This option is only accessible at Kroger Family of Stores Fuel Centers.
For instance, if you wish to use 100 Fuel Points, enter 10 for a 10% discount per gallon. A ten-percentage-point increment equals a ten-cents-per-gallon discount. This option allows you to spend Fuel Points from a previous month’s balance, even if the current month’s balance is higher.
